****** ALERT WEDNESDAY 10/8/25 2:30PM Boil water notice rescinded for the Nat side of the LGSUD water system  AFFECTING ONLY CUSTOMERS AT Jans Road, Barkley Road, 4800-6600 block of FM 698, CR 835, CR 8341

On 9/29/25 and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Lilly Grove SUD to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system (fiber optic installation crews hit our water lines multiple times), the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. Lilly Grove SUD has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 10/8/25.If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Zachariah Mobley (Operator) at 1-936-715-8191 or Nichol Daniel (Office Manager) at 936-569-9292.

***ALERT MONDAY 9/29/25 6:35PM** A BOIL WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE NAT SIDE OF THE LGSUD WATER SYSTEM AFFECTING ONLY CUSTOMERS AT Jans Road, Barkley Road, 4800-6600 block of FM 698, CR 835, CR 8341

Late this afternoon A leak began on a 2 inch service line on FM 698 just past CR 833 due to a fiber optic installation crew hitting our water line. Our crew is now finished making the necessary repairs and water has been restored.
A BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR THE NAT SIDE OF THE LGSUD WATER SYSTEM affecting ONLY CUSTOMERS AT Jans Road, Barkley Road, 4800-6600 block of FM 698, CR 835, CR 8341 . This notice has been issued due to aleak on a 2 inch service line on FM 698 just past CR 833 due to a fiber optic installation crew hitting our water lin, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Lilly Grove SUD # 1740014, public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth drinking etc.). This notice is for customers that live IN THE ABOVE AREAS ONLY. Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes. Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice. Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, school and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail. **ALERT Wednesday 8:45am** Boil water notices have been rescinded for Lilly Grove side and Nat side of LGSUD water system

**** ALERT 4PM 9/18/25 the fiber optic installation company working on FM 698 has hit our water line again today.

***ALERT 2 PM 9/17/25 the fiber optic installation company working on FM 698 has hit our water line again today. In an effort to conserve the water in the storage tank we have shut the water off temporarily until the necessary repairs have been made. 

**** ALERT 6pm 9/16/25**** A BOIL WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE NAT SIDE OF THE LGSUD WATER SYSTEM.

An emergency repair needed to be made on our Martin well site and the water had to be turned off for approximately 30 minutes this morning 9/16/25. Then a contract company for fiber optics hit our water line on FM 698 twice this afternoon.
